Purpose: Teacher-administered assessment of developmental health (skills and behaviour) of children as they transition from early childhood education to school (e.g., before Grade 1). Students are assessed on the domains of physical health and well-being, language and cognitive development, social competence, communication skills and general knowledge, and emotional maturity.
Middle Years Development Instrument (MDI)

Purpose: Self-report questionnaire of children in Grades 4-8 that can provide a holistic picture of how children in the middle years are doing at school, at home, and in their community.
