People for Education is coming to a city near you!

From January to June 2026, PFE is heading across Canada to meet with system leaders, educators, students and youth, parents, teachers, government, faculties of education, and civil society organizations. These engagements will help inform the development of our pan-Canadian Education Action Plan which will be released in fall 2026.

We are also hosting events in many of the cities we’re visiting. The Promise of Public Education: the role of public schools in nation-building series are free, open to the public, two-hour events taking place in eight major Canadian cities, starting with our launch event in January in Toronto.

Telling Tales Out of School, People for Education’s annual gala fundraiser, is a night to celebrate the promise of public education and support the vital work of People for Education. Every year it features extraordinary performances by students from our publicly funded schools along with a roster of Canadian stars.
